hi everybody!
The cyber security information sharing act or CISA is being reviewed by Congress this fall and security experts and privacy advocates both are quite concerned about this bill. As usual there are 2 sides to the debate. One side states"Concerns about privacy with regard to CISA are in my view overblown," -Simon Crosby, co-founder and CTO at Bromium.
Another side counters "For most of the security community, the concern about CISA is in its
potential to open up yet another avenue for warrantless seizure of
personal information," -Andy Manoske, senior product manager at
AlienVault.
Where it concerns this group in addition to being kept up to date about our privacy concerns is the need to practice strong crypto. Assume someone's always looking whether it's marketers, cyber crooks, or govt agencies.
Where do you folks stand on CISA?
