[Crypto-chi] All the more reason to use crypto on our smartphones

Hi Everyone
Well this time it's the CIA who has been helping the US Federal Marhalls  build phone scanning equipment for use here in these United States. As you know the CIA would be in contravention of the law if it operated directly on US soil . And if that wasn't enough based on information from Snowden's leaks there's a DOJ investigation as to whether NSA and DEA teamed up in some sort of diabolical plans most notorious.  The WSJ stated that the tech used to scan phones were fake cell towers to vacuum up vast amounts of data both from criminals and people like you and me.  
Whilst nowadays these revelations aren't so surprising - we've almost come to expect them - it does bring home one point to us as a crypto group.  Use crypto even on your phone!   There are tools for that.
Geez, at this rate next thing you'll know is we'll have to crypto even when we go to the loo.
