[Crypto-chi] New crypto advances

Hello All
Here are 2 articles I think this group will find interesting.   Crypto meets SW obfuscation.   Idea is to make code unhackable.  Sounds like Titanic being unsinkable. 
One question that comes into mind, doesn't obfuscation go against the grain of open source software?
