As such I don't know which ones are open source. Some you'll see are outside of the US ergo outside of the USA Patriot Act. Which is anything but patriotic. Like Cryptostorm. They're not on US soil. They also plug DNS leaks. TunnelBear on the other hand uses no logging of its users. Handy for when authorities come knocking on their doors. Others use L2TP which makes it harder to block; shared IP address which make it virtually impossible to match users and so on and so forth.</div><div><br></div><div>If anyone has experience with any of these, please share here.
