[Crypto-chi] WhatsApp now supports encryption

Hello all
WhatsApp, a popular messaging application used almost worldwide not that much in the US, now uses end to end encryption. Specifically according to the article. "WhatsApp is using AES-256 encryption to scramble the messages, which is uncrackable combined with HMAC-SHA256 secured authentication "   Not sure wot that is but sounds pretty secure. 
So if you're looking to keep your messages out of the hands of cyber crooks or the snooping eyes of the NSA, FBI, Boy Scouts.....  I would recommend this. I use it!
Anyone else uses this?
