For newbies or those who need a refresher course here's some good info on VPNs.  From our friends at UK based SOPHOS Security , here's good intro to Virtual Private Networks.  For those amongst us in this group who are new to security and crypto this provides a good basic overview of the VPN concept.

From our buddies at TorrentFreak, here's the latest compendium of VPNs as reviewed by TF.
