We don't *really* need to host a server for Pond to work, there are PANDA
servers we can connect to.
My public identity for testing Pond:
14ebe17937800cca2c8c68af2f0a708055890723f40363c383f92f88c787e931
also some pro-tips for installing Pond,
- Install Go 1.4.x before you try to install 1.5 (there are some
dependencies on the compilers changing in 1.5).
- Make sure you install gtk3-devel gtkspell3-devel and all the development
packages
- if you're getting errors while executing ./all.bash see steps #1 and #2
Setting up shared secrets is confusing to me, I found the information about
decks of cards and "timers" for secrets confusing. It seems to me (I'm not
an expert here) that you should ignore that part of the UI (bad design?)
and setup shared secrets.
Also! Pond is not IM. You're messages will be pushed / retrieved from the
PANDA server at various times, so you may see your messages in red (not
delivered) for 5-10 minutes at a time.
