This is because TBB has disabled it explicitly. You can do the same by editing Firefox settings (in the about:config) and then set media.peerconnection.enabled=false. No idea about Chrome but Chrome is already uploading your entire web history to Google for data analysis anyways so that's kind of a wash. Freddy
