Hey all,

We'll be having a cryptoparty in the electronics area of PS1 on March
14th beginning at 2pm. Cryptoparties are free, public events to equip
individuals with the knowledge and tools to secure their data and
communications.

What you'll learn:
* Brian Kroll will be teaching us how to use PGP for secure emailing.
* Freddy Martinez will be teaching us about secure mobile messaging
using TextSecure.
* Come with questions! As a group we can share our knowledge.

When: Saturday, March 14th from 2-5pm

Location: Pumping Station One, 3519 N. Elston, Chicago, IL 60618

Bring: Your laptops, your smartphones, snacks and drinks

A couple things:

* Minors under 18 need to be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.

* There will be a reporter and photographer from the Chicago Reader
present at this event. People who prefer not to be photographed will
have an opportunity to step away for a few minutes while photographs are
being taken.

Hope to see you all there,
